Russia's Wheat Forecast Raised to 53.8m Tons by IKAR on Rains

May 20 (Bloomberg) -- Russian wheat-crop forecast was raised to 53.8m t and the est. for all grains was lifted to 92m t, Dmitry Rylko, director of Moscow-based researcher IKAR says by phone.

*"Situation improved significantly in April"

*Recent rains were "sporadic" in many areas, problems remain in Rostov, Stavropol, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Tambov, Kursk and Voronezh regions

*Krasnodar may have close to record crop and harvest in Rostov region may be similar to 2012: Rylko

*NOTE: Krasnodar accounted for 13% of Russia's grain crop last yr and Rostov harvested 9%
