IKAR in Mass MediaRussian Wheat Exports May Miss Forecasts on Delays, Rylko SaysFeb. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Russian wheat exports may miss government forecasts on delays and shipments may total 20 million metric tons in 2011-2012, said Dmitry Rylko, general director at the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies. Small ports in Russia may stay frozen through mid-March, he said a conference in Singapore. The country's shipments may fall from a record in 2012-2013 as frost hurts crops and carryover inventories decline, he said. Kazakhstan's wheat exports will ``most likely'' drop in 2012-2013 as the country may have a ``problematic'' harvest because soil nutrients are exhausted after a record crop, he said. The institute, known as Ikar, is a research organization based in Moscow. 23 марта 2012 года Source: Bloomberg | #grain | Comments: 0 Views: 53
