The forecast of wheat production has been lowered to 81.5 million tons

MOSCOW, May 27 (Reuters) - Russia's IKAR agricultural consultancy has cut forecasts for the country's wheat harvest and exports following a period of bitter frosts, it said on Monday.

IKAR downgraded wheat production forecasts from 83.5 million metric tons to 81.5 million metric tons. Wheat exports are now seen at 44 million metric tons and total grain exports at 55.5 million metric tons.
