Russia's Grain Crop Seen as Much as 92 Million Tons, Ikar Says

Aug. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Russia's grain crop is seen at between 90 million and 92 million metric tons this marketing season and exports may be more than 20 million tons, the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies said.

Last marketing season, Russia exported a total of 4.5 million tons of grains, including record rice shipments of 200,000 tons, said Dmitry Rylko, general director for the Moscow-based institute, known as Ikar.
