IKAR consultancy lowers estimate of wheat harvest to Russia in 2021 to 81.5 million tons

MOSCOW, Jul 15 (Reuters) – Consulting firm IKAR cut its estimate for Russia’s 2021 wheat crop to 81.5 million tonnes from 83.5 million tonnes, it announced in a statement on Thursday.

The lower estimate is due to hot and dry weather in southern regions of Russia, he said.
