IKAR in Mass MediaRussia beet sugar output may fall to 2.8 mln T-IKARMOSCOW, Aug 9 (Reuters) - A severe drought, which hit some of Russia's sugar beet growing regions, may cut the country's white sugar refining volumes from this year's crop to 2.8 million tonnes, leading sugar market analysts said on Monday. "In 2010, 3.3-3.4 million tonnes of sugar may be produced under favourable weather conditions and rains in the coming days," the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) said in a monthly note.
