Russia Nov grain export seen down to 1.2-1.3 mln T-IKAR

MOSCOW, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Russia's Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) said on Thursday it expects Russia, one of the world's key wheat exporters, to export 1.2-1.3 million tonnes of grain this month, down from around 2.5 million tonnes in October.

IKAR also cut its forecast for Russia's 2012 grain harvest to 69-70 million tonnes from the previously expected 70.5 million tonnes, based on updated harvest data, Dmitry Rylko, the head of IKAR, told Reuters.

Russia's wheat harvest forecast was also cut to 37.1-37.6 million tonnes from 40 million tonnes, he said.
