Russian Grain Crop Forecast Cut to 69 Million Tons by IKAR

Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Russian farmers will harvest 69 million metric tons of grain in the marketing year that startd July 1, the Institute for Agriculture Market Studies said, cutting its forecast because of a drought.

Russian grain exports will be below 10 million tons this season, Dmitry Rylko, director of the institute known as IKAR, told a conference in Moscow today. The researcher last month forecast grain crop at 70 million to 72 million tons.
