Russia Grain Exports to Be Record 3.3 Million in Sept.,IKAR Says

Sept. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Russia may export a record 3.3 million metric tons of grain in September, according to the Moscow-based Institute for Agriculture Market Studies.

About 1.3 million tons tons of grain may be exported via Novorossiysk, Russia's main export hub, and another 250,000 tons via Tuapse, another Black Sea port, Dmitry Rylko, director of the institute also known as IKAR, said at a conference in Moscow today. Some 120,000 tons may be shipped via the port of Taman, and the remaining 1.63 million tons through smaller Russian ports as well as terminals in Ukraine and on the Baltic, he said.
