IKAR in Mass and Industry Media IKAR raises its forecast for Russia's 2017/18 grain exports Reuters MOSCOW, Feb 22 (Reuters) - IKAR, one of the leading agriculture consultancies in Moscow, said on Thursday it had raised its forecast for Russia's 2017/18 grain exports to 48.6 million tonnes, up from the previously expected 47.7 million tonnes. ∙ Its forecast for Russia's 2017/18 wheat exports was raised to 37.5 million tonnes from 36.6 million tonnes; ∙ Russia's grain exports are running at record pace due to high stocks after a record crop in 2017, IKAR said; ∙ Export prices for the Russian grain remain competitive in global markets despite the recent strengthening of the rouble currency against the dollar, it added. 22.02.18
